The soul searches for a nest
Where shall she wander if she doesn’t rest for a while
Beyond the pettiness there is a world that calls upon
But the more she tries to rise above, it drags her into an endless fight
The clouds keep moving, racing against the clock
Her tenacious mind keeps lingering around
Holding her breath in, drawing her spirit out
Anger bursts in and ruins her innocence now
She cries and tears she swallows now and then
The world turns vicious, circling darkness around her pain
She traces the light and nurses her wound
Growing cold and numb toward affectionate swoon
An embrace of love, a glint of joy she craves
May be a kind hearted smile shall find her faith
